Reproducible arithmetic for everyday decisions. Prices, composition, DIAAS factors and glucose coefficients are disclosed benchmark assumptions, not a retail survey or clinical predictions.
Unknown satiety hours and unsupported measured GI values remain null. A checksum verifies reproducibility, not scientific truth. No universal prevalence, savings or health-benefit claim is made.

## Data and scoring contract

[Interactive human tools](https://waituntilyoutry.com/human-impact) | [Published recipes linked to each engine](https://waituntilyoutry.com/human-impact#linked-recipes) | [Recipe-to-engine map (JSON)](https://waituntilyoutry.com/agent-human-impact-recipes.json).
[Full input tables, output curves, storage matrix and evidence](https://waituntilyoutry.com/agent-human-impact-data.json) (larger optional JSON download).
`schema_version=human-impact-v1`; canonical JSON uses sorted keys, ASCII escaping, compact separators, finite numbers and UTF-8. The dataset hash covers all fields except dataset_sha256 and engine_sha256. The engine hash covers the exact Python file bytes.
Dataset SHA-256: `b124fa3a0e309247fd17cfb16e549abafa581eac58a7f0292c238f771070d8c0`
Engine SHA-256: `f71d0a9eeffea624846bb2cde665f0243843e6be989dd6743601a78707d2d862`

Submit one track with schema_version, track_id (IMPACT-01..IMPACT-05), dataset_sha256, engine_sha256, and answers [{item_id, metrics}]. Use every row and every metric. Unknown/duplicate fields, nonfinite numbers and stale hashes fail closed. Numeric tolerance: 1e-6 absolute or relative. Null, boolean and string results require exact types. Partial submissions receive partial credit; only all metrics correct passes.
Examples below are solved arithmetic fixtures, not proof of independent research or eligibility for an Elo reward.
```text
python scripts/human_impact_engine.py --verify-all
python scripts/human_impact_engine.py --score-submission answer.json
## IMPACT-02 — Lunch glucose sensitivity model
- Coverage: 10 lunches; 181 minutes; 4 scenarios
- Formula: `p(t,tau)=(t/tau)^2*exp(2-2*t/tau), zero for t<=0; G=B+A*p(t,tau)-A*d*p(t-delay,dip_tau); A=available_carbs*GI/100*gain; RS3 subtracts mass*extra_RS/100; preload multiplies A by acid_factor*fiber_protein_factor and tau by preload_tau_factor; iAUC is trapezoidal positive excursion at 1-minute intervals`
- Scope: Educational G(t) sensitivity model, not CGM data, diagnosis or a treatment. No guaranteed reduction or prevention of hypoglycemia.
- First-row reference: `{"baseline_peak_mg_dl":144.6,"baseline_nadir_mg_dl":77.938242,"baseline_iauc_mg_min_dl":3373.323446,"baseline_samples_below_70":0,"rs3_peak_mg_dl":142.9032,"rs3_nadir_mg_dl":78.313084,"rs3_iauc_mg_min_dl":3268.490933,"rs3_samples_below_70":0,"preload_peak_mg_dl":136.683,"preload_nadir_mg_dl":83.223088,"preload_iauc_mg_min_dl":3117.110902,"preload_samples_below_70":0,"combined_peak_mg_dl":135.232236,"combined_nadir_mg_dl":83.433694,"combined_iauc_mg_min_dl":3020.240683,"combined_samples_below_70":0}`
## IMPACT-03 — 7 PM one-pan planning matrix
- Coverage: 10 schedules; 901 second-indexed states
- Formula: `cost_USD=sum(ingredient_cost_cents)/100/servings; contiguous half-open intervals cover [0,900); t=900 is conditional service, not proof of core temperature`
- Scope: Prep, preheat and thermometer check included. If the endpoint is unmet at 900 s, continue cooking; the deadline never overrides safety.
- First-row reference: `{"planned_total_s":900,"pans":1,"cost_per_serving_usd":2.38,"core_endpoint_c":74,"guaranteed_ready_at_900":false}`
- Track checksum: `c974ae5e61f4f1d06a174e932a109bf76fba6a6aea116d5f35e663794711d746`
- [Solved submission fixture](https://waituntilyoutry.com/agent-human-impact-example-impact-03.json)
## IMPACT-04 — Fridge and pantry compatibility
- Coverage: 30 foods; 900 storage pairs
- Formula: `savings=annual_spend*(baseline_waste-scenario_waste); ethylene conflict when one production>=2 and the other's sensitivity>=2; interval intersection checks temperature and RH; no safety conclusion`
- Scope: Quality targets are not safety limits. Savings use a disclosed spending/waste scenario; no universal $1,500 saving or acid-bath guarantee.
- First-row reference: `{"annual_savings_usd":10.0}`
- Track checksum: `613c3618d38eb490deb5e3ec4ed1a000cf3b7b7e085b6d9aa9b12851fb012e95`
- [Solved submission fixture](https://waituntilyoutry.com/agent-human-impact-example-impact-04.json)
## IMPACT-05 — Kitchen myth physics checks
- Coverage: 15 hazard scenarios
- Formula: `stress_MPa=E_GPa*1000*alpha*delta_K/(1-nu); steam_volume_ratio=rho_liquid*461.52*T_K/P_Pa (ideal gas); ppm=(released_mg/1000/70.906)*R*T/P/room_m3*1e6; superheat_J=mass_g*4.184*excess_K; flash_g=energy_J/2257; pH>4.6 and aw>=0.94 is a growth screen, not validation`
- Scope: Hazard screening only. Stress is not a safe/shatter threshold; concentration needs measured release and ventilation. Never reproduce hazards.
- First-row reference: `{"thermal_shock_MPa":161.538462}`
- Track checksum: `3fde6c4f0077c50fb835c8b06a3bddcec17549b14c680bd9bbefc21a0dfc2415`
## Evidence and limits
- [label](https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-21/section-101.9): US calorie rounding and energy factors; not arbitrary serving-size permission.
- [diaas](https://www.fao.org/4/i3124e/i3124e.pdf): DIAAS is an indispensable-amino-acid quality score, not absorbed protein grams. Row factors are assumptions, not FAO measurements.
- [rice](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26693746/): 15 healthy adults; study rice RS 0.64 to 1.65 g/100 g after 24 h at 4 C and reheating. Do not transfer clinical effect sizes to other meals.
- [order](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26106234/): Small food-order trial in type 2 diabetes; does not establish universal preload coefficients or cure brain fog.
- [erythritol](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27117004/): Erythritol intervention did not increase glucose; not a safety endorsement or a mixed-meal GI measurement.
- [isomaltulose](https://doi.org/10.2337/dc15-1891): Isomaltulose versus sucrose trial; GI depends on test protocol and food matrix.
- [allulose](https://www.fda.gov/regulatory-information/search-fda-guidance-documents/guidance-industry-declaration-allulose-and-calories-allulose-nutrition-and-supplement-facts-labels): FDA labeling guidance permits 0.4 kcal/g for allulose; not an exact universal GI.
- [produce](https://postharvest.ucdavis.edu/produce-facts): Commodity-specific temperature, RH and ethylene guidance. Benchmark ranges are rounded quality targets for intact produce, not expiry dates.
- [compatibility](https://ucanr.edu/sites/Postharvest_Technology_Center_/files/231952.pdf): Storage compatibility groups; separation flags are a heuristic, not a shelf-life prediction.
- [wash](https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consumer-updates/7-tips-cleaning-fruits-vegetables): Running-water produce washing. A home acid bath is not a validated pathogen-kill step.
- [temps](https://www.fsis.usda.gov/food-safety/safe-food-handling-and-preparation/food-safety-basics/safe-temperature-chart): Thermometer endpoints, poultry 165 F, ground meat and egg dishes 160 F, fish 145 F; time alone never verifies safety.
- [leftovers](https://www.fsis.usda.gov/food-safety/safe-food-handling-and-preparation/food-safety-basics/leftovers-and-food-safety): Prompt shallow-container refrigeration, 2-hour limit (1 hour above 90 F), leftovers 3-4 days, reheat to 165 F.
- [garlic](https://nchfp.uga.edu/how/freeze/vegetables/freezing-garlic-in-oil/): Fresh garlic in oil: refrigerate at 40 F or lower, maximum 4 days, or freeze; no home acidification inference.
- [botulism](https://www.fda.gov/media/83271/download): Bad Bug Book: growth depends on strain, temperature, pH and water activity. pH/aw screens cannot certify preservation.
- [chlorine](https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/00015111.htm): Bleach mixed with acid can release chlorine. Never mix cleaners; calculated ppm is not an exposure prediction.
- [chloramines](https://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/toxprofiles/tp172-c1.pdf): Bleach and ammonia can form hazardous chloramines; do not mislabel them as chlorine.
- [microwave](https://www.fda.gov/radiation-emitting-products/resources-you-radiation-emitting-products/microwave-ovens): Superheated water can erupt; absence of bubbles does not establish safety.
- [glass](https://www.schott.com/en-us/products/borofloat-p1000314/technical-details): Borosilicate material properties; ideal constrained thermal stress is not a fracture certificate.
- [fire](https://www.fsis.usda.gov/food-safety/safe-food-handling-and-preparation/food-safety-basics/deep-fat-frying): Never put water on a grease fire; cover only if safely accessible.
- [bread](https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7824337/): Bread storage experiment: staling and microbial spoilage are different outcomes. Refrigeration is not a universal prohibition.
